Who knows what the Dems have in store. I wouldn't be surprised to see them draw the vote out in the full senate. Nevertheless, Alito is going to make it.

I must say I'm disappointed, but not surprised, at the Dems. I hope the Republicans keep these hearings in mind next time a Democrat president nominates someone (hopefully not for a long time to come). At least the Dems are finally out in the open. They really care little for the rule of law and prefer judges who act like legislators. Again, not surprising at all.

Apparently Jon Kyl made the same point as you, this morning during his statement time. I'll see if I can find the statement later.
