He has disgusted us.

He is near Kerryesque in how he plays the media circut, waffels on issues and is PC. Not someone I'd support even if he has a (R) behind his name.

At this point, the odds are that McCain will not get the Republican nomination. My prediction is that the polls are going to be clear that McCain will not be able to get the Republican nomination. By the same token, I am going to predict the polls are going to show that Hillary can not win the election in spite of the fact that the polls will suggest that no Democrat will be able to defeat her for the nomination. The NYT and other major players will lobby hard to get McCain to switch parties and run in the primaries against Hillary. I am going to bet that the same polls are going to show that if he switches, he will be able to win the Democratic nomination, even though he would not be able to win the Republican nomination. And the polls will show the election to close to call if McCain wins the Democratic nomination regardless of who the Republican nominee turns out to be.

Will McCain take the bait?
