I would but he prefers not to recall those days.
His brother made a career as a chaplin in the Army, went to Germany, got married and decided to live there.

What difference does all of this make to the Marine that was killed or to his family. He leaves behind a daughter who is not even a year old. Does that mean anything to her? No!! Finding out more as to why her father was shot would mean more I would think!!!

Well, don't get your shorts in a knot just yet. There'll be more information after an investigation.

Your son was attachted to the Miramar unit. Did he have any connections to this Marine? I am a very close friend of this Marine, he lived with us back in New Mexico for years, I always considered him a brother. When you get any wind of this would you be so kind to share whatever you hear with me.

You making jokes about the death of this Marine? You have no idea.... The Navy and the Corps are two differant branches. How dare you compare the Navy to the Marines. What the heck do you mean when you say "In the Navy we call it the not getting caught medal?" FYI this Marine is a very close friend of my family. He lived with us for years as we were growing up and is considered a brother to me. This person or people that did this to him WILL get caught and may they rot in hell. And how dare you say what you said and shame on you. You have no clue the pain we are going through. Suggestion......watch what you say because there are people who are suffering from your comment that was made with insensitivity and stupidity.

Thank you very much. Couldn't have been said better. For those of you who think that these awards that this Marine recieved are given to just anyone....think again. The Presidential Unit Citation is not given to just anyone. People think before you comment on the death of this Marine. FYI this Marine is a very close friend of my family, he lived with us for years as we were growing up and I have always considered him a brother. He was killed and was forced to leave behind his beautiful daughter who isn't even a year yet. Why don't you people who have nothing good to say, keep your comments to yourselves. Respect the family and dear friends who lost this outstanding person, great father and friend and very brave soul alone. Keeps your comments to yourself.

Any news on what happened to the young man?

I'm in San Diego and have heard nothing further on this senseless death.

My son hasn't made any further mention of the incident. He is attached to the reserve unit on the east end of the field. He's going on a 2 week exercise in the desert this weekend. If he hears anything of interest, I'm sure it will be passed along.

Most of these comments are just space fillers between new news and markers for those that will want to come back and see what happened.

If it is our serial insider troll, they do it for the thrill of tricking people.
Not so much sad and pathetic as it is sick and inneed of help.
