Soros, going back years and years, has a high level of intensity and an obsessive streak, but very poor long term thinking and a huge attention deficit after some time.
He funds programs and ideas, then gets bored, and moves to something else in which to invest him time, money and energy, he goes overboard, then moves on to something else.
Don't be surprised if Soros is out of the politics business in 5 or 6 years.
