it's already against the lawS in nyc not to have registered your hand guns/long guns within 72 hours of acquiring them,never mind that you also have to be licensed.

I would point out that 98% of crimes in NYC are committed by New Yorkers. Using the junior senator's logic, prehaps we should ban New Yorkers from the rest of the country...
