Interesting development where I live in Indiana.

We have had an influx of Latinos from Mexico, and we have hired them at our plant. They are generally very good employees. We have been trying to hire each month what we think we will need and train them. We recently decided that one month we will commit to either hiring all English or all Spanish speaking employees so as not to stretch our training resources by having to run two separate language orientations each month. This month, we have doing our second consecutive English speaking orientation because the temporary agency we use says they will not be able to staff our needs with all Spanish speaking employees. This is highly unusual and she says it's because the pool is down due to 'legal' issues. So, it looks like companies are seeing that they are going to be fined if they hire illegals.

It’s down due to the New Orleans reconstruction effort. Negan is nuts if he thinks NO is going to remain majority black.

I'm glad to hear this but I have to say

In Indiana?! I would not invade your privacy to ask where you work but a company that only hires Spanish speaking individuals every other month makes me wonder if they are here legally on visas? Do you trust the company you work for to verify this? I hope so.

I hope so. There is a big new crop of illegals headed your way. We were on the border for about 3 hours this evening, 18 of us were covering about 8 miles of border, members of the group called in 19 that were apprehended. BP was being run ragged all evening.
