Democrats Have No Shame

Apparently, this guy has been under a rock for the past 150 years or so if he's just noticing this...

Why is it called "Borking" and not the practice of Bidenism? Which one of Joseph McCarthy's "victims" suffered from McCarthyism?

The Democrats got away with partisan witchhunting because the practice was named for the martyr and not the despot. And for the record McCarthyism was and is overrated.

It says a lot about the Democrats' idiocy that a 25 year old sorority membership is of burning concern to them - along of course with abortion.

....who worked relentlessly to use Judiciary Committee hearings to set the stage for the Democrats to filibuster any constitutionalist appellate court nominee who appeared to be a potential Supreme Court nominee.

Their strategy was transparent. They would attack nominees personally and scurrilously to create a climate of intimidation, hoping either to frighten highly qualified constitutionalists away from accepting a Supreme Court nomination or deter President Bush from naming such a person. They also hoped the filibuster of Bush’s judicial nominees would energize their left-wing political base during the 2002 and 2004 elections cycles.

No, their strategy was not "transparent" - - it was DOCUMENTED.

The biggest problem here is, these people, once elected, are essentially elected for life. The Politburo had a higher turnover than the members of Congress, especially the Senate...

Kennedy - 36 YOS (Years Of "Service")

Leahy - 32 YOS

Biden - 34 YOS

Durbin - 24 YOS

Kohl - 18 YOS

Feinstein - 14 YOS

Feingold - 14 YOS

Schumer - 26 YOS

The only things which stop most of these people are fatal heart attacks or airplane crashes. Even senilty fails to halt them, viz. Lautenberg and Byrd.

They are Emperors For Life. No wonder they say and do what they want and are invulnerable!

Until the wee hours, they feverishly sifted through the archived checks, correspondence, contributors’ lists and old publications. “Judge Alito’s name never appeared in any document,” Specter announced the next morning.

Interesting they forgot to note that exactly no one from Kennedy's staff showed up for this all nighter.
