Thanks for the AM laugh!
Still having trouble communicating directly with me, I see.
Unless you have some previous history with CSVet, I don't see why you're so intent on badgering him.
Many tragedies have befell the faithful on the Hajj, not so long ago the tent fires come to mind as well...
Sadly, it's come to almost to be expected as part of the ritual journey.

Road kill from the religion of peace.
Another "Bad Day At Black Rock."
SALAH NASRAWI, Associated Press Writer
MECCA, Saudi Arabia - Thousands of Muslim pilgrims rushing to complete a symbolic stoning ritual on the last day of the hajj tripped over luggage Thursday, causing a crush. Medical officials said more than 110 people were killed and some 1,000 injured.
The stampede occurred as tens of thousands of pilgrims headed toward al-Jamarat, a series of three pillars representing the devil that the faithful pelt with stones to purge themselves of sin.
A member of an emergency team at the scene said at least 110 people were killed and that the number was likely to rise. The medical official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press.
More than 1,000 were injured, a doctor with the Saudi Red Crescent said. He told The Associated Press he had heard reports that up to 300 people may have been killed. The doctor was identified only by his nametag, Dr. Abbasi.
I side with you: innocent people dying is a shame.
But the more you badger people on here, the less sympathy I have for your position on this thread.
How did you get to the conclusion that these are innocent people? How are people throwing rocks at pillars, where people are trampled annually....how are these people innocent? They are responsible for their own actions. Same as the people that welcome government handouts are traitors to freedom, muslims that participate in a culture of death are culpable for the propagation of a culture of death which encourages the malignant islamists in their midst.
So there.
You got major probs man.
Looks like a damn ant hill. Get the Amdro, quick.
"The stampede occurred as tens of thousands of pilgrims filed past al-Jamarat, a series of three pillars representing the devil.."
The Devil made them do it.
There is no legitimate connection between the majority of law-abiding American Hispanic-American citizens and the smugglers of illegal criminal alien invaders.
There is a direct connection between Islam and terrorism and violence against non-Muslims.
"Not sure if they get the virgins, though."
No, Only the ones who kill non-Muslims. These poor guys only get sloppy seconds. I always wondered what the women Jihaddist got? A giant selection of burquas and new whips to be used on them by their husbands in the afterlife?
In the Judeau/Christian tradition we have abstract values. For instance, we value human life. So we would say, was the value of human life valued in the Hajj stampede? Since it was not valued then the stampede is a bad thing.
Islam is far simpler and fatalistic. Whole nother' ball of wax. There is only one important thing in Islam: Obeying Allah. Were the hajj pilgrims obeying Allah? Yes. Ok then, from an Islamic perspective, the fact that they all died is not important, nobody should think twice about it. They obeyed Allah and everything else is unimportant, from an Islamic perspective.
Islam is all about perfection having been achieved in the 8th century in the writings of a warlord named Mohammed and ignoring, or supressing with violence, all contrary and competing intellectual developments since. I would really like an actual muslim to tell me otherwise but they'll just ignore whatever I say and batter me with the same speech telling me how great Allah and Mohammed are instead. Islam is not intellectual, stop trying to reason with it.
Interesting points.......Thanks for the perspective.
George Bush and this administration did not have proper saftey procedures in place.
Just being flippant today.
I don't need to comment. You covered everything I was going to write.
I have to agree with you on this point. I have to believe that there are very few al-Qaeda here.
Of course, if I'm wrong about that, it would be a great target for a MOAB.
That comment should get me published on DU before the day's out.
