Someone, I can't recall how, summed it up nicely as follows:

Judaism is theocratic, but not evangelistic. (Once Israel had her promied land, her wars of conquest basically ended.)

Christianity is evangelistic but not theocratic.

Islam is both theocratic and evangelistic.

Isn't it amazing how many people do not even have a passing view of history.

That's what I was taught in HS World History in 1970. I haven't seen any convincing evidence to the contrary since then.
