Read the Hadith or better yet, read Craig Winn's Prophet of Doom (online at www.prophetofdoom.net). There is no issue about the violent, repressive and psychotic nature of Islam.
The Hadith are not qurannic. They are the supposed teachings of Mohammed as interpreted by Imams. Depending on what Imam you talk to this Hadith is sacred, and that Hadith is apocryphal.
In fact, most of the Islamist violence and extremism comes from the Hadith (72 virgins and martyrdom) and not the Quran.
It would be like saying that because Shepherd's Chapel teaches the doctrine of Kenites, that all Christians hate and want to kill blacks. It's just a silly and stupid comment born of ignorance.
