The question is, will the GOP laugh this off or will they take effective measures to counter attack? I heard a discussion on NPR about the Abramoff scandal and only two culprits were mentioned during the whole 10 minutes, they were both Republicans, Delay being one. How does a public tax funded radio program get by with this crap without the GOP demanding equal time? We could sure use Haley Barbour back in charge of the party.

Their strategy is clear. They have been for the past few months painting with every carefully chosen word and taken to the airwaves their "master stroke" of creating the perception that the republicans and conservative are morally and financially corrupt and must be stopped.

Even though we know that what they are saying is mostly false, they are spinning every event and carefully crafting the appropriate leaks knowing the MSM will do the rest of the terrible deed and pick up the ball and run with it!
