Build a walll at the very least. Mexico needs SERIOUS reform but I don't see anything even remotely in the horizon to make it happen.
Ever since the Enrique Camarena affair, I have had no faith in Mexico whatever. It has a government both corrupt and anti-American. It was nice that for a while Mexico moved toward the West, but the heart of that nation is in the curious mixture of facism and socialism that was PRI, the party that governed Mexico for more than 60 years. PRI is a party that is anti-Christian, anti-capitalist, and anti-American. When PRI was running the country, the Mexican army trained a lot of its military officers in the former USSR. The government under PRI always maintained close ties with Communist countries. Whole generations of Mexicans were indoctrinated in socialist ideology and hatred for the United States.
