The brute who raped a Bronx honor student on the roof of her building was punishing the teen because she didn't have enough money to give him when he robbed her, her mother said yesterday.
"What do you have?" the stranger, waving a knife, barked at the 16- year-old in the hallway of her Fordham walk-up.
"She held up her hand and said, 'Only my earrings and a dollar and some change,' " her mother recounted.
"Well, that's not enough," the attacker declared, before holding a knife to her throat, dragging her to the roof and stealing her innocence.

Gee, maybe Mayor Bloomberg needs to tighten the knife control laws of NY. I wonder if this knife the pperp used was legal or illegal?

Agreed. There is no justice for such crimes in America. The worst anyone can get is lethal injection (not in NY), and that is WAY too humane.
Occasionally such things happen before the ACLU can protect him..
But to really offend him first, have the judge do what one did in a case a long time ago. A thief was caught and found guilty. Part of the sentencing was that the person who was robbed would have free access to the felon's belongings and could take whatever she wanted. Felon wailed about rights, rights, rights.
It's not all that should happen to him, but it would be a start. And it would definitely get his attention.
That would be steps one and two .... execution and a long dirt nap are required to complete the process.
No, the punishment should fit the crime. I generally oppose the use of in-prison rape as a way of running the places, but for rapists, especially rapists of children, maybe it's not such a bad ides to put them in a cell with the meanest homosexual in the prison and throw the key away.
He proabably used an automatic "Assualt" knife.
Catch him on a roof and throw him off.
