No information is given about the percentage suffering depression out of the 115 who had babies.
The numbers in the study are too small to be statistically significant, and it does not address the fact that pregnancies carried to term often result in depression and impairment of the mother's mental health.

Freaking lie. Naturally any life changing event is called "stress" by the mental health crowd, just because it takes adjustment. And raising children has got to be one of the hardest jobs there is, especially in a world gone mad. But your statement is just not true. Having a baby causes impairment of the mother's mental health? What planet to do you live on?
Since post partum depression occurs in at least 10% of women who give birth, that alone would have poked a big hole in their "conclusion", which states only that a higher percentage of women who had had abortions, had also "experienced major depression at some stage during the previous four years", not that they had experienced depression AFTER having an abortion. By the time that misleading classification is fixed (thus eliminating the group who only expereinced depression before they had an abortion), and post-partum depression is factored in, I seriously doubt that the incidence of depression in women after an abortion vs. after even a wanted baby's birth reaches statistical significance. If you categorized it as women who had an abortion vs. women who carried an UNwanted pregnancy to term, I suspect the incidence of depression would be significantly higher in the latter group.
