The Hillary-Condi avalanche

By Salena Zito TRIBUNE-REVIEW Curb your enthusiasm and fasten your seat belts; today marks the first day of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential bid. This is a moment of glee in many camps. Others are observing a moment of silence with a primal scream quickly to follow...But it's not all demographics, Morris says. "Condi is a woman that has made it on her own, whose accomplishments are hers." Hold that up to Hillary, whose "accomplishments are entirely derivative of her husband's," making even the National Organization of I-don't-know-what-kind-of-Women wince.

Hitlery's campaign will be past tense if the BARRETT REPORT is ever made public.

"We all know who Hillary is -- a woman who fundamentally views government as the answer to what ails us."

And the only way to provide that answer is by coercion, tyranny, and a government so powerful, intrusive, enormous, and exploitive that a dictator of Stalin/Hitler/Pol Pot proportions is absolutely necessary to keep that answer coming.

Put it this way: If Condoleezza Rice should say, "If nominated I won't run. If elected I won't serve," we will nominate and elect her anyway.

She can sit in the oval office and play the piano--or go ice skating--or do any of the impressive things that she does so well--maybe some new ones. Maybe she'll play golf like Eisenhower did. We'll be far better off than we would be with the alternative.

If the founders had known about the telephone and the ability and eagerness of islamofacists to blow us all up they would have demanded that the President do exactly what he is doing.

"...protect and defend..."

I applaud and support the President's efforts to protect us in spite of the Dims/MSM's constant efforts to surrender!

Yeah, I know. I got that quote from a troll, who didn't realize how dumb it was to mention 'the Founders' and 'the telephone' in the same sentance.

There is one thing I know about her, which is why I support Condi for President over all others.

Condi Rice is an absolute defender of the second amendment due to a gut level personal experience she had while a child.

She remembers her father and other neighborhood fathers standing guard over their street with shotguns during the racial problems in the area.

Due to that experience, she has stated the absolutely defends the right of Americans to keep and bear arms.

That's something you can't get in school, by looking at polls or anywhere else.

Condi Rice for President!!!

Hillary Clinton has had a steady "I WOULD NOT VOTE FOR HER FOR PRESIDENT" number AT OR ABOVE 40% for eight straight months. Little Dick Morris just does not have grasp on reality when it comes to politics, I will admit he smiles well, however, and that is his most outstanding skill.
The only place Hillary Clinton is a threat to become president is in his mind and the minds of people who think that the beltway matters. Condi Rice has repeatedly said "No", so Little, give it a rest.

i respectfully disagree, she runs, she is running now and not wishing it does not make it go away...it is always wise to expect the worst

"...protect and defend..."

That final elipsis is simply dishonest and speaks mountains about you.

I said:

"...protect and defend..."

and you said: "That final elipsis is simply dishonest and speaks mountains about you."

The Constitution said:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Ellipsis in English The Chicago Manual of Style suggests the use of an ellipsis (also known as an ellipse) for any omitted word, phrase, line or paragraph from within a quoted passage. There are two commonly used methods of using ellipses: one uses three dots for any omission

So, what does it say about me?

Subject:   What does YOUR dad do?

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up -- fireman, mechanic, businessman,  salesman, doctor, lawyer, engineer, and so forth.  But little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so the teacher prodded him about his father.

Justin replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret, and takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and make love with him for money."

The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Justin aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"

"No," the boy said, "He works for the Democrat National Committee and is helping to secure the 2008 Democrat nomination for Hillary Clinton, but I was *WAY* too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids."

(Please FReepmail if you want on, or off, this list.   I certainly have no desire to increase anyone’s stress-level. Thanks!!!)
