Some 200 left-wing Israelis joined by Palestinian Authority (PA) residents took part in a Saturday afternoon protest near the Beit Iba Checkpoint near Shechem.
The protestors called for an end to the Israeli occupation and expressed their hope that 2006 will bring a year of non-violence and the removal of checkpoints and IDF limitations on PA residents of the area.
a bunch of maroons.
Where's the 'Wannabe Dhimmi Alert'?
confusion reigns?
Jordan attacked Israel from the land in question with the intent to annihilate her in 1967, and Israel won the battle and claimed the spoils of war. The "occupation" is the price the Arabs paid for messing with their superiors. Morally and Biblically, it's Israel's land. Legally, it's disputed.
Tel-Aviv is undoubtedly heavily occupied. .....by lefitst, self-loathing fools.
These are not just jerks, but dangerous jerks! If they understood history, they'd realize they are being manipulated to support the enemies of peace and the promoters of destruction. Those who manipuate these so-called Leftists do not want a peaceful Israel.
hiloni today ,yordim tomorrow , and Zimri's the next day
name calling will not solve the problem, which is not, by the way, with the leftists. The problem is that the right lacks the conviction to address the real issue. A Chanukah analogy is appropriate. What did the Macabees do with the Hellinists? The right wing can't even bring themselves to say that these leftists are true "peace partners" with the Arabs, much less do what they should do once they get the power. Even though the left (including Sharon) has no problem doing what they do when they get power.
