Schussel's XM program should be carried on America Right which also carries Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity and a host of other right leaning talk shows.
I don't see this as a leftist conspiracy at XM, only that she was being offered the wrong type of channel for her commentary.
FYI - XM also carries Fox News.

At least Sirius has Hannity... However, on both networks, Libs outnumber Conservatives 2-1.
Now, will Rush ever get a satellite deal? I don't see either paying him the kind of money it would take to sign him. Sirius thought Stern was expensive...
To: AmericaUnite
No problem, the market will make the right decision. Wherever liberal radio rears its ugly head, bad ratings and revenue-drop are sure to follow.
To: Cheapskate
I like Sirius alot, but the prospect of every MLB game onXM made the difference for me.

XM radio, the version supplied by DirecTV, had five Christmas channels, including a classical channel.
That got my attention.

I am an XM addict as I am in a rural area and AM reception is non-existant. Hannity is live on ch. 124 3-6pm est. Boortz is coming in January, I don't know what the deal is with Rush and why he's not going there.
To: Boundless
Hannity is carried on XM Channel 124 (ABC News Satellite Channel) as is Laryy Elder. Mike Reagan, Laura Ingraham and Glenn Beck are carried on XM 166 (America Right). I think G. Gordon Liddy will be starting on XM soon.
Rush has no plans to move to satellite radio at this time - he discussed it some months ago on his show.. For one thing, he's got so many affiliates that it wouldn't make much difference for him to jump to satellite. Also, he wants to reward the loyalty of his AM affiliates by sticking exclusively with them.

A very silly article.
She's equating the fact that her politics and style didn't fit into some moonbat chickie's vision for her particular "woman's channel" with government censorship.

Stern was the reason why I picked XM !
Any company that would pay mega $ for trash is out of their mind.

I get XM, and only listen to music.

I just got Sirius, but only for the music. I never listened to Stern on commercial radio and I certainly don't intend to start now. The music on Sirius is excellent and with a one hour commute each way it's well worth the 40 cents.

Debbie is awfully cute, but she comes across as a whiner much of the time, when she nitpicks movies, or complains about liberalism where we all know about it, the mass media, which XM and Sirius are simply extensions of it..

"Dr Laura"
I really wish XM would put her somewhere else. She may be conservative, but that is not what she talks about.
Don't forget Michael Medved.

True. Both XM and Sirius have good conservative lineups.
Personally, I get Ingraham-Prager-Medved-Savage via the Internet and that suits mejust fine.

Ditto to everything you said. I'm listening to Tony right now, and early January XM will be carrying all of Fox talk radio.
I sure hope XM doesn't drop their conservative talk shows because I have signed up with them for five yrs. Didn't know about Boortz. Thanks for info.
To: whitehair1961
If I lived in an area where I couldn't get reception, I would probably buy this service. When we go to the Adirondacks, it's very hard to hear anything of even Rush. But, I would never have even gone cable, if the broadcast channels hadn't been all snowy right here on western LI. Why pay for what's free? (Okay, I'm cheap.)
Rush said he's not going satellite. He's the best. I'd sooner pay for 24/7.
To: HitmanNY
I dropped Sirius on the eve of Stern's arrival. I will take a brief siesta from pay-radio until the Spring when I will subscribe to XM - the MLB contract is the difference and XM delivers. The MLB contract does it for me too.
I am getting Sirius for a steroid free summer.

Living in a very blue state I must say that I loves me some XM radio! I get to hear all of the syndicated programming that isn't available locally, Tony Snow, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, Larry Elder, Sean Hannity,etc..
