"If they were serious about the whole thing they'd start killing suidicd bombers' entire families."
I was thinking the same thing at first glance at the whole situation but now I am not so sure. The West needs to maintain a standard. Murder of innocents is what we are claim to be fighting. During the crusades, the Christian armies were ruthless and employed such methods, sometimes slaughtering whole villages. The point is that this did not stop Islam.

"If we're going to be in it, we should have a whole division there with a few extra helpings of primary and secondary education people and textbooks."
I agree totally with the above. Military force may needed to be used, but education must be employed afterward on a broad scale, that no people has the right to commit genocide on another for ANY reason. I like how Tony Blair has been advocating this message very hard in the last year, he gets it.

The good will prevail against the evil. It always does it just takes some time.

Islam is unlike any enemy we have ever faced. It's a combined religion, culture and political system, and it has a death grip on the minds of those who are dedicated to it. It is perfectly calculated to overcome Judaism and Christianity and it will never stop until we destroy it at its roots. So, just what do you (and other Freepers reading this post) believe we ought to _do_ to accomplish this goal?
What are we going to do with 1.25 BILLION people who are trapped by Islam's grip?
By the way, I'm in complete agreement with you (and others who have posted similar opinions here). So long as the breath of Islam exists, the entire world is in danger. Islam is the enemy of freedom and peace, and incompatible with every other culture on Earth.
But is the only solution to extinguish Islam, "to it's last breath"? That's a serious question, and one The West must someday confront.

What are we going to do with 1.25 BILLION people who are trapped by Islam's grip? We have to change their minds, which won't be quick or easy. I recommend providing an Arabic translation of Why I Am Not A Muslim by Ibn Warraq as a good start. Muslims must begin questioning their beliefs.

Excellent. Man, I read over his posting history and it was all about Israeli/Jew hating about 90% of the time. Twisted every issue that way. Pathetic. Seems he was a latent troll to have lasted that long. Most of these Stormfront wannabees burn out in a few minutes to a few days. Rather hard to hide that much hatred.

This happened almost immediately after the Katyusha attacks on Kiryat Shmona and Shlomit. I heard about those first hand. I expect an escalation.

Yep. Both satanic visions had/have unrealistic goals. The longest standing empire was Rome which captured roughly 50% of what was called the modern world (this obviously doesnt factor in North or South America)and held it for less then four centuries. Rome was a Republic and closer to a free society then dictatorships under Islamic rule. The mere idealogy of owning all the world through conquest is in itself outdated. If you want to own the world, you get a hold of all the oil resources and then move on to control of the world banking system from there. If your Christian, you probably believe as I do that this is what the anti-christ will do to have global control.

I am a Christian. Have over the years read a lot on future events, compared many scenarios various Christain authors writing about OT/NT propehcy etc.. What you share is somewhat in the realm of how things shall progress. But I would suggest the key players are not the Islamic world, but others. We should remember, put in perspective, that oil/gas though they are very big business are but a part of the pie.
And things like the eventual one world government/imbedded ID's in hand and or forehead for fianacial transactions/consumer purchase etc., do not fit in very well with the Islamic model. I think it is fair to say that most authors on the end times, one world government point to the large western controlled banking systems, organizations such as the CFR who work behind the scenes etc.. I rather not go into a long dialog on this stuff, it leads nowhere in essence.
So I would differ as who is going to eventually take over. But we all are free to express our opinions. But just as an example how things can shift. Imagine in twenty year or so if the US breaks down the barriers concerning oil/gas exploration, drilling, using many new techniques to extract oil from shale, activate on a large scale those 1970 government sponsored programs to make synthetic oil and the thousands of petrochemical end products from our yet huge coal reserves in the NE and out west etc.. Add to that big finds off our coasts etc.. We could find we no longer need ME crude oil. If so, then monies instead of going into making the Saudis, for instance richer, would gravitate back to the US. So I always take the future events with care, as how I interprete the end run so to speak.
