The traitors from fred phelps group were here in Greeley, Colorado a few weeks back, but the motorcycles and other counter protestors made sure they were not heard. I think some FReepers were there as well.

I wonder if his "church" is even officially part of any larger Baptist organization, or if he just leeches off the name.

Can't the Baptists reel in their own? Since Baptists are entirely non-heirarchical in nature, I doubt that there is any possible way.

Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church is completely independent and not affiliated with ANY Baptist Church. Basically, anyone can set up a Baptist church.
