A Kuwaiti court on Tuesday sentenced to death six suspected militants linked to al Qaeda for bloody attacks in the country.

Note to Reuters: After someone is convicted they are no longer a suspect.

A couple of observations:

1) They were found guilty, so why does the article say 'suspected'?

2) Maybe it's not the way we do things here, but why is extremist in parentheses? The suspects were charged with belonging to an "extremist" group.

3) What is an "Islamist"? Does it imply something else than a suicider?

Reuters seems to be even more anti-American/anti-Western than AP these days.
