This is part of the fall out of Vatican II and Pope John Paul II's terrible reign - a Cathoic Church gutted of its convictions an turned into a lukewarm, emasculated version of its once vibrant self. And the Pope they have now, Benedict XVI, although he may talk about tightening up things and getting the fags out of the seminaries and so on, will, in the end, do little, if anything, to halt the slide of the Catholic Church into irrelevancy.

Well, when you look at the French "culture" and their bigoted attitude towards others that are different ... in a sick sort of way I can understand her need for structure and rules. She never had any when she dabbled in religion before ... so this might look good. She is a fool and if she is not careful will be used like a tissue and tossed away.

Well, she was Catholic at first. That is probably why she never heard of that stuff.

Popery-bashing aside, I honestly believe that that is Benedict XVI's greatest problem: None of his flock [or ex-flock] has a clue what it is that they're supposed to be believing [or were supposed to be believing, prior to leaving the church].

Apparently the phenomenon extends even to South America, where [as I understand it] protestantism is expanding exponentially.

You`re right. The girl in the picture IS hot, and I would bone her in a second, satan worshipper or no.

I realllly think the journalist chose her for this story. The picture was an important part of the story.

It`s kind of like homeless stories in the US; when they want you to really feel sorry for them, they:ll chose a white family that obviously has no substance abuse problems, doesn`t swear, and is just a tad scruffy.

That way, middle-class TV-watching tax-payers really, really RELATE to them.

I think there`s a similar strategy going on, here. Seriously, over 90% of the white muslim chicks in Sacramento have buttocks in two seperate zip codes.
