In fact, she explains, she liked the way "Islam demands a closeness to God. Islam is simpler, more rigorous, and it's easier because it is explicit. I was looking for a framework; man needs rules and behavior to follow. Christianity did not give me the same reference points." What? She isn't practicing Christianity then.
If you want to be a farm animal, Islam is where to look.

"The phenomenon is booming, and it worries us," the head of the French domestic intelligence agency, Pascal Mailhos, told the Paris-based newspaper Le Monde in a recent interview.Gotta hand it to those French journalism schools. They really teach 'em to condense layers of meaning into a phrase. /grin

Europe, a decaying society vulnerable to it's enemies; France, the perfect example, a society which values atheistic secular principles above all else, now reaping the whirlwind.

They have one thing in common, usually: They`re usually hideously fat. Look at the girl's picture! She is hot!

I, too, doubt she has more than a superfucial knowledge of Christianity. None, if she went to regular French schools.

Women ARE sex objects.... and so are men for that matter. The number 2 biological imperative for all animal species, behind raw survival, is reproduction.
Didn't you get the point? I was quoting the little twinkie and making fun of her. I don't think you read the article.

Because they are masochists, with low self esteem, who have never really studied Islamofascism, and think hijabs make them look cool?

Look at the girl's picture! She is hot! Yeah, she is. That's why I took the time to get the HTML right.
On the other hand, the reporter wouldn't have used her as an example if she weren't hot [only hot chicks ever get their pictures in the paper].

Islam is simpler, more rigorous, and it's easier because it is explicit. I was looking for a framework; man needs rules and behavior to follow. Christianity did not give me the same reference points. In earlier times she would have joined a radical Marxist group, for the same reasons. "The True Believer,: Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements" by Eric Hoffer gives good insights on this.
Some people really need to be part of a system where everything is determined, and no one is responsible for their own status. If everything is "the will of Allah", then nothing is your own fault or responsibility

I don't think so. its a fashion trend and I doubt she even knows what the religion is about. Looks like she's in a bar!
Some people will believe anything - just look at scientology.
To: jailbird
just unbelievable ....
How are European parents failing at raising their children
if their children , and especially female children, are joining the ranks of the arch enemy of humanity and all that is reasonable ?
inexcusable

I'm not exactly sure where I would place my bet on that yet (speaking of Europe this is).

Look at the girl's picture! She is hot!She would be sleeping with Nazis in 1944.
To: jailbird
Well, she was Catholic at first. That is probably why she never heard of that stuff.

So...that's why the ACLU wants to "hide" the Ten Commandments!

It amazes me that people who attend church once a year, never tell anyone about Jesus, become intoxicated on drugs, are sexually promiscuous and swear like a drunken sailor (among other nice habits) claim to be Christian. Are they the same ones sporting bumperstickers: "I'm not perfect; just forgiven!"?
