One half of the people will blame the Democrats when pigs fly.

The right-wing takeover of this sensible country has been stopped.

Sounds like Frau Harrop forgot to take her medication this morning.   *snerk*

It’s funny, Stevens has bent over backwards for the liberals for most of his time in the Senate. And now he makes one plea from those he helped, to help him on this vote.

The funny thing is that he thought that they would.

Just like most Republicans who compromise with the libs, expecting them to be fair, are in for a rude awakening.

People of principle stared down charges that they were unpatriotic, loved Osama or hated religion.

He said this in the same breath when he and his friends under minded our soldiers in Iraq, then he probably logged onto Al Jazzera, while bemoaning all this "Merry Christmas" tripe.

The very fact that he thinks this activist judge who took a hard swing of his fist at Christians in that illogical and ridiculous ruling shows you everything you need to know about this guy.

First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

If the President can just sign an executive order making something a national park... can't he just sign an executive order NOT making it a park? Heck, if I were Bush I'd sign a executive order giving ANWR to Exxon, just to see the left flip out.

I live in a rural community 30 miles SW of Pittsburgh, PA. This year 4 new oil and natural gas wells were drilled on my road. Furthermore, the southern half of Wash. Co. PA is being opeened up for strip mining coal. This is beautiful country that supports an abundance of wildlife.

Why is it that the enviro blowhards will go to the mat to defend uninhabitable regions above the Artic Circle and yet ignore mining operations so close to major cities?

This is more delusion from the left. And our students ARE being told the truth . . . by me. In the past couple of years alone I've read stories to them of no fewer than FIVE new oil discoveries that have greatly expanded our "known reserves."

Their assigned text next semester is my own (reliable) "Patriot's History of the United States."

But the good news is that as long as these morons keep lying to each other about the quicksand they are in, they cannot fix the problem. That's great news. Rejoice!

If this is all they want to claim that they have won, lets just throw them a bone every three or four years to keep them happy. Lets say they can ban arsenic in skim milk.

What is the sensible definition of "sensible"?
