Training starts with the individual. Sergeant Andrew Derrick, U.S. Army, is doing it the right way as he helps an Iraqi policeman achieve a correct shooting stance. We have no business even think-ing about Iraqi army battalions until we have trained capable squads and platoons.
The problem is not "how to win in Iraq", rather how to win at home.
This is where the main battlefield is. Unless we win the propaganda war here, what we do in Iraq won't matter much (in the short term).
Bush has got to continue going on the attack with speeches and appearances like he's been doing the past month, 'cause the other side ain't going to relent.
He has to get his poll numbers well above 50% or else even the rats on our side (RINOs and moderates) will abandon him.
