When will they be shot?
All I want for Christmas is the arrest of these senators you've become traitors in the worst way.
Nothing will come of this, but it is entertaining.
The states involved don't have to recall their senators. The president himself ought to make a determination that these men can't sit in review of highly classified projects and forbid government officials from senate meetings where the three are sitting. The vast power that the three men welded...disappears overnight, and they would likely have to give up their committee status...and likely sit on environmental committees instead...with little status or money drawn to their state....and no special lobbyists bringing in bags of money to ensure votes on special projects. That is all that is required.
The question is...is President Bush fired up enough to direct a "no-discussion" order on these three gentlemen? I'm guessing that the three are sitting there in their homes during the holiday period and wondering just how far they will have to bend over....to make the president happy. And considering that GW isn't running for election....he holds all of the cards on this episode. If I were Rockefeller...I'd consider retiring as soon as possible...there isn't much to be gained via his position anymore.

The Senate Democratic leadership has probably intervened so that the boys and girls get no more than a wrist-slap.
