COOKE 'BODY' SNATCH (a culture pushed to the brink of mindless savagery by secularism)
NY POST ^ | December 22, 2005 | BRAD HAMILTON

Posted on 12/22/2005 5:14:54 AM PST by Liz

A fiendish team of body snatchers in Brooklyn defiled the body of beloved "Masterpiece Theater" host Alistair Cooke, removing his bones for profit without his family's permission.......the body of the avuncular TV icon, who died in March 2004 at 95, was cremated at New York Mortuary in Spanish Harlem — but not before a pair of heartless harvesters got their hands on him.

Cooke, who hosted the PBS anthology series of British programs from 1971 to 1993, was among dozens of victims whose bodies were sawed up and peddled by funeral director Joseph Nicelli and disgraced dentist Michael Mastromarino, cops said.

The duo are under investigation for allegedly taking out leg and arm bones without permission and selling them to medical firms for reconstructive surgery and other purposes.

Detectives in the Major Case Squad learned about Cooke after combing thousands of records kept by the mortuary on people who donated body parts, sources said. Cops called Cooke's relatives and discovered that the person who supposedly gave authorization for an organ donation did not exist.

The funeral home, located at 2242 First Ave., near 116th Street, was started in 1972. Sources said the home had been shut down, but a rep who answered the phone there last night said the place was open.

Whistleblower Robert Nelms, who unearthed the alleged scandal after he bought the Brooklyn home, was shocked to hear that Cooke was said to be among the victims.....Nelms ....found records that some of the alleged chopping had occurred at their funeral home before they bought it, police sources said.

Detectives investigating the case have exhumed three cadavers and found that bones were missing from each body. The bones were replaced by PVC pipe, cops said. Police plan to dig up as many as 30 bodies, they said.

Our culture is reverting to mindless savagery, pushed to the brink by the moral relativism of secularists.

The thesis of moral relativism---upon which the savagery of legalized abortion is enforced----appears to be that mankind exists in a guiltless vacuum, and is merely the sum of its private parts.....which, in this case, can be bought and sold at will.

Secularists demand that all of society kneel in obeisance to its incessant need for gratification.

The language of laws, our societal customs, and all of our cultural institutions must be gutted and should exist only to feed this carnal obsession.

The abortion savages, ACLU, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, together with left liberal and church-separation groups, are employed in this destructive objective.

The Political Correctness battering ram has been used by Dumbocratss and moral relativists---better known as the Secular Taliban and their acolytes--- to beat back believers, to silence moral people of every faith, to keep them out of the public square.

Now, it appears secularism is being outed in all of its savage parts. The abortion issue as well, is biting back.

Let the word go forth----Political Correctness is dead----killed by a wounded culture corrupted and devastated by the secularists hydra-headed PC monster.

It only remains for good people to bury secularism six feet under.

File this one under "X", call Mulder and Scully. Scary thing is that it's probably true. The more bizarre the tale, the more likely it is to be so.

Evil existed before secular humanism was codified. Evil existed before moral relativism and existentialism. Evil exists in every culture of every people of every country. Evil exists among people no matter their professed beliefs and stated religions.

To blame an individuals evil actions on the culture in which they were raised absolves them of the responsibility of their actions. Moral relativism, secularism, existentialism, marxism etc. are excuses for evil not causes of evil.

"This doesn't pass the smell test."

A few years ago in Georgia, they found a funeral home director literally stockpiling bodies around his home rather than cremating them, claiming the gas was too expensive. The cops found hundreds of bodies. Google Ray Brent Marsh.

Mmmmm....I'm saying our once-proud culture which was insituted to be a cut above savagery, has been corrupted by the ascendancy of the contemporary reincarnation of evil----which is secular humanism, and its co-relation, moral relativism.

The secularists are hitting them out of the park these days. Rooting out RINOS in govt. is one solution.

Body snatching used to be much much worse than it is today. Associating it with a secularist society is just ignorant. Here read this link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4509648.stm.

Here is a blurb:
"Few crimes can make the flesh crawl like body snatching, but it was prevalent in the 18th Century.

The image of freshly raided graves scandalised the public, but few of the perpetrators and procurers were caught and, when they were, the punishments were trivial."

I'm saying that our rumored cultural decline is far overstated and a clear eyed view of history demonstrates that. I'm also saying that secular humanism and the other equivalent 'isms are not the cause of evil but a symptom of evil. I certainly don't think that secular humanism, and moral relativism are in way positive ideologies but in the end people are always the perpetrators of evil not ideologies.

If any one thing could be blamed for influencing people to commit evil acts it would be ignorance. Both secular humanism and moral relativity (among others) are simply codified ignorance so I do agree they could be an influence but more typically they are used to excuse behavior people would have committed regardless if they had heard of either ideology.

Just reread -The perps are from Brooklyn. Article is correct, funeral home/mortuary is in - Spanish Harlem (part of NYC). Thirty years ago it was an Italian neighborhood.

Late broadcaster Alistair Cooke's bones stolen
(Filed: 22/12/2005)

The family of Alistair Cooke, the late veteran broadcaster, have spoken of their horror at the possibility that his bones were stolen by a criminal gang trading in body parts.

Mr Cooke died from cancer in March 2004
Mr Cooke, who presented BBC Radio 4's Letter From America for more than half a century, died in New York in March last year from lung cancer that spread to his bones.

The New York Daily News claims that some of the 95-year-old's diseased bones were taken before his cremation without the family's permission, and sold on for transplants.

His stepdaughter Holly Rumbold said the practice was "corrupt and evil".

"I'm furious, I'm enraged, I'm outraged," she said. "My stepfather is not the only one that's been used for this macabre purpose and people are making billions of dollars out of it."

Ms Rumbold told BBC Radio 4 that Mr Cooke had died in the night and undertakers collected him for cremation: "His ashes, or what we thought were his ashes, were returned the next day. They were scattered in Central Park - who knows maybe some of the ashes were his - how do you know? It defies the imagination."

Mr Cooke's daughter Susan Kittredge told the New York Daily News she was "shocked and saddened that following his death, parts of his body were illegally sold for transplant".

"That people in need of healing should have received his body parts, considering his age and the fact that he was ill when he died, is as appalling to the family as is that his remains were violated," she said.

The newspaper said an investigation was being carried out by the Brooklyn district attorney's office into Michael Mastromarino, who ran Biomedical Tissue Services Ltd, a tissue recovery business.

Nice find. Thanks. The question of cremains was raised recently in another case. How does a family know whether they are receiving the cremains of their loved one, or fireplace ashes?

These individuals in NY and GA should also be investigated for necrophilia------ although some states have legalized this horrific practice (sex with dead bodies).

Friend of mine in the theatre has heard talk about necrophilia being practiced by sexually jaded perverts in the entertainment industry.
