It's The New York Times that should not be trusted
The Post Chronicle ^ | 12/21/05 | Michael J. Gaynor

Posted on 12/21/2005 10:21:05 AM PST by RepublicNewbie

Did The New York Times deliberately disclose important classified information that it never should have acquired (and had properly kept confidential for a year), at a propitious time to distract from the immense success of the December 15, 2005 Iraqi election and to bolster the chance that the far left minority in the United States Senate might successfully filibuster the renewal of important provisions of The Patriot Act set to expire at the end of the year, and disclose that important classified information in such a way as to suggest that President Bush was irresponsibly abusing his executive power and should be impeached for it instead of doing precisely what he should be doing as a wartime President to protect America from more terrorist attacks and should be supported?

Yes.

Was it mere coincidence, or childish mischief, or monumental malevolence?

Think about it.

This is nothing new for the NY Times. They are just re-living Vietnam and their glory days...remember the Pentagon Papers??

Drudge is reporting that W had a meeting face to face with Keller and Sulzberger where he specifically requested that this piece not run. What country do those fellows think that they are a citizen of? Who on earth are they loyal to?

The NYT bathhouse boys are running a 24/7 political campaign against the US.

The question is, who is their candidate?

OBL and his Islamic suicide cults, with a little of Saddam mixed in?

Have they violated Campaign Finance Laws? National Security Laws?

How many laws?

Anyone who says "The NYT is not biased" is a lying turd and most likely supports the insurgents...

They are internationalists. They dislike that America is the lone superpower on the planet. It is UNFAIR that America has the world's highest GNP. They believe that we should be no better than any 3rd world country. According to them, we are only prosperous b/c of our plundering of Earth's natural resources...our exploiting of the working class...our racist past...etc. This is their belief. And Republicans are the incarnation of all that is EVIL in their eyes. In other words...they are insane.

It will be my profound joy to witness the final demise of that American Bashing POS paper.

Where are all the environmentalist? They should be protesting the NYT for the needless killing all those trees to publish a paper that will and probably has gotten American's killed.

The Times is losing circulation due to their antiAmerican biased stand.
Hopefully the whole paper will go in the toilet where they belong.

Raid them hell...the NYT should be shut down; it's a time of war, it's what Lincoln would have done, Bush should do the same.

A LONG time ago the New York Times was a respectable paper and some still regard it as the best source, unfortunately. Alan Colmes quotes it daily, for one. He is becoming more irritating and irrational by the month! They all are!

But where will I be able to find a paper with comparable coverage? That full page layout very nicely fits the floor of my parakeet's cage. Other papers don't have the same coverage.

Yes, it would be much better if our government could decide, on its own, that it has the inherent power to ignore Constitutional provisions and never tell its citizens that it was doing so.
