Why don't you try reading the full article? The sicko you refer to is only one of about half a dozen that they identify. Several of the others are homosexual "boy-lovers" - a category which tends to encompass the majority of pedophiles.

The majority of pedophiles without question do not target boys; they target girls. There is considerable debate as to whether pedophiles disproportionately target boys, but no debate whatsoever as to that the majority of victims are girls.

PS. And I didn't read the full article because it doesn't interest me at all. I only clicked into the thread because Wikipedia interests me. I remarked on your comment because it seemed so inconsistent with what I read of the article.

I just checked to be sure. Between 75% and 85% of pedophile victims are girls. Ergo, "girl lovers" certainly encompass the majority of pedophiles.
