Running Time: 97 minutes

Alarmed by the growing multitude of conservative talk-radio shows, a group of investors set out to launch a liberal radio network for those whose opinions skewed more to the "Left of the Dial." The result was Air America Radio. This engaging, fast-paced film charts the long-anticipated rise, scandalous near-fall, and subsequent salvation of the liberal-leaning radio network. Told through verite footage shot at the New York-based station over the course of nine months, the film follows the network's evolution and features interviews including TV satirist and author Al Franken, liberal radio host Randi Rhodes, stand-up comics Marc Maron and Janeane Garofalo, National Public Radio pioneer Katherine Lanpher, and radio personalities Mark Riley and Rachel Maddow.
I am crying now. So sad I do not have HBO...
Current Boston ratings (per centage of audience)
WRKO, conservative 4.7
WTTK, mostly conservative 2.9
WKOX _and_ WXKS, Air America: 0.5
(Bellyaching on the messageboard of the Air America
Boston stations...crappy signals at night means that
instead of Randi Rhodes they get Fox Sports stations
out of Ottawa and Binghamton instead!)
oops, WTKK
C'mon now, don't give them the ratings hit. It's bad enough that I can't seem to get away from The Day After Tomorrow on my cable channels...
So up. Then so down.
Yes.
Trust me.
No one is watching.
I am enjoying their torment.
WAHHHH! Our Ratings Stink.
WAHHHH! I hate Bush.
WAHHHH! We didn't get paid again.
WAHHHH! How did Bush Win?
WAHHHH! WAHHHH! WAHHHH!
Just take a quick stroll over to DUmmieland for a quick lift! Oh well, I can't blame you for that, Liberal consternation is addictive.
saw this when it was on a while back ........the last 10-15 minutes is nothing but libs crying and whining about the 2004 election and the financial problems (no paychecks, etc.) at Air America .....priceless
I always have an urge to wash my fingers after venturing over there...
Yeah, I always get a whiff of BO and Petrouli oil from my computer's exhaust vent...
I just switched over from the football game to watch these liberal losers cry and lament their loss.
DU post. LOL
Don't you love watching football and freeping at the same time?
Having and eating cake...:)
Our finely tuned, coiled-to-spring opposition, clearly.
WRKO in Boston (home of Rush and Howie Carr) also loses most of its signal at night.
Yup.
How are they talking about good ratings? They have no ratings.
It's election night. The crying is soon to begin.
They show this thing on a Saturday? I guess it's appropriate, because Saturday morning and afternoon are probably dead times for HBO. Like a station running a bad movie opposite a football game on another station.
