Off your meds?
The voting in Iraq, the first Arab-Islamic country to hold free elections, should have been front-page banner headlines in every major rag in the country. I sampled about five of them in the lunchroom at work this morning, and only one, the Chicago Tribune, had it properly headlined. The Milwaukee Urinal-Sensational had a headline story about some Great Lakes problem. The Iraq voting was barely on the front page and easily missable. This was a deliberate attempt by all the major rags liberal editors to minimize the Iraq story and their own erroneous assumptions that it (the voting) would never take place.
You probably missed this poll when the results were published in the New York Times. What? You mean the results were never published in the New York Times? The Washington Post? No! How can that be?
