The January 2006 issue of Vanity Fair includes the magazine's 2005 Best of the Best -- "Heroes! Winners! Guilty Pleasures!" -- feature. Among those honored are the cast of ABC's "Lost," chosen as "Best Find"; the cast of FX's "Nip/Tuck," chosen as "Best Lift"; and aging rockers Sir Bob Geldof and Bono, chosen as "Best Ambassadors." But the choice that catches the eye -- and the breath -- is in the "Best Stand" category. In a two-page spread, winner Cindy Sheehan is photographed lying full length in the grass at her son Casey's grave at the Vacaville-Elimira Cemetery in Vacaville, California:
Such the media whore - it's a wonder she isn't in "Club" or "Hustler" by now...
or a centerfold on the Village Voice...
That woman's an honest-to-God ghoul.
And she still hasn't bought a headstone I see......
Just sick.
This issue of Vanity Fair is particularly bad. Did you see the photo montage of Karl Rove morfing into a chicken? There were others as well.
Just Pathetic, The Media-Whore!
Umm...I don't think the imagery is particularly appropriate, honestly...
...yuck.
It may be real... but it's been doctored. They highlighted her face to make it glow. See how long the other shadows in the picture are (even her own feet)? Her head was in the shadow of her flowers.
Sarge ....this one is so over the top....my jaw is still on the floor.
That's pathetic.
Her 15 minutes were up 15 weeks ago.
Where's a payloader when you need one?
Ive been known to sit at hubby grave and have a long talk but at he has a headstone
Man, she is the biggest See You Next Tuesday alive.
Shouldn't she be DANCING on his grave?
What clever photography. Notice she is like the shadow cast by other gravestones.
Wierd though, somethings not right.
You have a problem you take it up with the Corner and Vanity Fair...I just posted the photo.
ridiculous... ridiculous.
