I'm sure if this guy's name was Joe Smith he would have been detained. My pastor last month was detained and put in a holding cell last month for having a vegetable knife in his carry-on. It was over 4.5 inches long, so it was considered a weapon. It was in his carry-on, so it was considered a concealed weapon. He is older and doesn't fit the profile of a Mideast terrorist at all.
