National Retail Sales Tax Alliance ^

The video presentation is 23 minutes 35 seconds long. The video includes the history of the income tax, an example of how one taxpayer would benefit from the Fair Tax and details about the Fair Tax. It is far more effective than simply reading documentation.

I saw it. I like the idea. The sheeple might figger out what the hell they are paying. Other alternative is ZERO with-holding. let the sheeple write a check at the end of the year for U$D 64,000. That's the way I look at this taxation system. Then again, we are took a few accounting, economics, marketing, mathmatics, chemistry classes and sort of figgured out some numbers.
I would suggest that Joe Six-Pack hasn't a clue wht his advertised U$D 23.99999 cell phone statement is over U$D 50.00. TAXES and FEES.

But is it an accurate presentation? If it parrots some of the outlandish claims often made here in FR, it isn't.

Nooooo! We MUST keep the current 50,000 page system where anyone with a lot of money can buy legislation to exempt themselves!

There is a certified way to convert all citizens to collectivism. Tax the rich, tax inheritance, create a progressive tax system. Further, use government to educate, and use the government to control the media. Also, the progressive tax system should make all citizens subject to the whims of the state in the ceding of income for taxes.
So what milita group are you going to join? LOL.
If there is a constitutionalist on the planet that thinks we are safe I would surely like to meet him/her.

FYI
A Taxreform bump for you all.
If anyone would like to be added to this ping list let me know.
John Linder in the House(HR25) & Saxby Chambliss Senate(S25) offer a comprehensive bill to kill all income and SS/Medicare payroll taxes outright and replace them with with a national retail sales tax administered by the states.
H.R.25,S.25
A bill to promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national retail sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.

Even tho Tobies paycheck is $300 dollars more...He still needs that extra $300 to pay for taxes. Maybe more. Yes, just as he needs to cough up more taxes at the end of the year to pay his income tax.
FairTax was not meant to be a tax reduction.
There will be some reduction in prices, (approaching the size of sales tax) as the embedded tax all the way down the production chain will be eliminated, along with the cost of preparing those taxes.
It not a tax rise. Its not a tax cut. It is carefully designed so that the the overwhelmingly vast percenage of people will pay the same tax as now, but without an IRS to deal with.

Yes by all means we must keep this bloated bureacracy around because there are a few home builders that depend on some dodges and loopholes, we must all remain slaves to the IRS.

LOL...And what of those poor tax accountants? Tax Lawyers? We must guarantee their full employment! We must remain under the yoke of the IRS and the IRC.
Seriously now...for a moment, dare to dream about releasing the creative genius of all the people who currently use their intellect to work around the IRC. What could we accomplish if released from this bondage?

Did you know that the FairTax legislation includes a 23% credit for all finished goods inventory, all work in process as of the date the FairTax is enacted? That will allow prices to drop 23% on day ONE, without compromising profit margins.....No need to wait for taxed goods to work their way through the supply chain.....
