Changing a culture is freakin' hard!! My wife and I watched "A Charlie Brown Christmas" last night. It was made in either '65 or '69 and it's about the commercialism of Christmas. It really touched a part of me that I haven't felt in quite awhile. Sad to realize that there is no way a cartoon like that could ever be made today. I applaud the network for airing it. Anyway, yeah, I'd be divorced too, but I really would like to put a halt to this crap and I believe it all starts at the retail stores.

I watched Charlie Brown last night as well. Even though I have it on tape I always watch when it airs on TV. It is sad to think that this couldn't be made today. The left always moans about censorship when they can't air their smut but the true censorship involves any program with a hint at traditional Christmas celebrations.

Local radio host was reading some ratings figures for last year and Charlie Brown Christmas was like the 8th top rated program for all of 2004, so don't be discouraged. Several other Christmas programs were in the top 20.
