Fortunately, the most consistent aspect of the speculation that has swirled around about each book is that it is uniformly wrong. I have completely lost count of all the wild and incorrect rumors that have been through the mill.

watch what you say.......you may get zotted. Ain't that the truth. Economic conservatives who don't thump Bibles are tolerated at best.

Well, she did kill off Dumbledore in the penultimate book which for modern readers was probably about as shocking as what Charles Dickens did to sad little Dora.
My bet though is that she'll kill off "he who must not be named". If there's another major plot twist it will probably involve Snape. If I were her (or her publisher) I'd want to keep Harry around in case her and their millions of pounds in the bank run short someday.

I would not rush to believe every word a paper like the Mirror has to say. Not that I give a wet slap about Harry Potter one way or the other...but I have read the same notion about HP getting offed in book seven on several HP fan sites.
I was surfing for a particular photo of Rachel Dratch as HP on SNL and came across this scuttlebutt on several sites.

The Harry Potter books are much more entertaining. Plus...I don't have to attend weekly services paying homage to Lord Voldemort or coughing up 10%+ of my income as an offering to his death eaters. :-)

Harry Potter may die in the next book in the series because author JK Rowling wants to kill him offFor me, that'll be right up there with Leonardo DiCaprio's slow agonizing death in Titanic ...

Someone's panties are in a bunch because the HP books have been outselling the Bible. The latest Harry Potter installment is the best-selling ever, with 20M estimated for US sales.
the Bible will sell an estimated 24M hard copies in the US this year.

.. isn't that just someone with no real morals but who is really tight with their money?? Yep. That's the case. All Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, deists, etc. have no real morals because they don't thump Bibles. /sarc

Of course the death of Dumbledore maybe a practice run (not really dead) Snape and Dumbledore may have had this planned out in advance.

(Or worse yet, she'll send him back in time to grow up to become Dumbledore.)You'll face angry mobs with pitchforks if this happens. I for one will blame you for giving her the idea. Watch your back.

the Bible will sell an estimated 24M hard copies in the US this year. Nice of you to point that out. However, we're talking books sales worldwide. Freebies from the Gideons or missionaries overseas don't count.

JK wants to make sure no one else follows her books with their own books.
I say "KILL HIM".
