The Catholic Church ought to cease using psychologists to determine whether or not a candidate is homsexual. Instead, all seminaries ought to immediately require those preparing for the priesthood to join an inter-seminary team playing either a) football b)soccer c)rugby. That is about all the testing that will be needed to weed out homosexuals. You needn't have to ever worry whether a seminarian is lyng about their sexual preferences.

With some of the latent homosexual high school football hazing incidents you hear about, I'm not so sure this would be a good idea.

Just ask them if the like "movies about gladiators"...

I will say right up front that I am an atheist.

I will also say, there are some gems of insight here. Book marking... bumping...

My neighbor's sister "became" gay after two failed marriages and 3 kids. She "found" she was in love with her best friend from college who also just got divorced after 12 years and 5 kids. They immediately moved to a gay friendly state so no one would question their "love". I guess they didn't want anyone to ask if they were not just two good friends with broken hearts that had grown close while leaning on each other and were now confused by the difference between a really close friendship and love.

"A group [homosexuals] representing only one out of every 50 Americans has such social power, I think, because they represent an extreme of sexual liberty that thereby justifies more "normal" immorality, e.g., rampant heterosexual fornication. The secular straight world listens to them and promotes their cause because it is sexually libertine itself and knows that a world in which sodomy is normal is a world in which no one will think twice about fornication or even adultery." —-David Mills

funny :) amazing how the MSM speaks about how the Church needs to "liberalize", yet it's these very same liberals who are trying to destroy the Church.

I don't like playing any of those sports, or any other sport that has a ball in it for that matter.
Just because one dislikes rather intensely sports with one ball in them does not mean that one enjoys playing with two of 'em. Sheesh.

I suspect, most Americans, including those on this forum of FReepers know very little about the true GAY lifestyle and how they seek to effect (infect?) our entire way of living and exert political control.

If you happen to live in a major city or pass through one, seek out a newstand. Gay publications are free and can be found in boxes near other free entertainment and housing news.

You will read about which candidates they support and which laws, organizations, and church groups they have targeted. You will read mountains of hate for the GOP, President Reagan (equating him to Satan for all the AIDS deaths,)and x-rated Bush-bashing along with ads for Moore's F-9/11 movie showing at the LGBT library (paid for through our taxes.) You will also see which politicians are spending their time courting gay support.

Freepers, understand that it is not just for the tiny handful of votes that politicians court gays. It is the thousands of hours of free campaign work they provide for gay & gay-friendly candidates.

For example, A local gay ran against our Congressman(R) seat. (We won! after the challenger withdrew due to illness). Once targeted by the gay news as a primo Congressional Seat to capture, (no pun intended) gays flocked to the area months in advance. They raised over $1,000,000 of out-of-state LGBT money and had dozens of full time volunteers from states on the Left coast arriving in September to target this local race. Of course, they also traveled to try & defeat the President. (We have a few very blue spoiler cities within a great Red state.) Local gays advertised: stay for free in "host" homes while campaigning here in the Sun! The Star Bucks coffee lot was loaded with out-of-state cars which had rainbow Kerry/Edwards stickers & Human Rights Campaign stickers (royal blue 4"square with 2 horizontal yellow bars.) These people with Oregon, CA, and MASS license tags had traveled thousands of miles to try & elect a gay Congressmen, Kerry, & naturally party together!

By October the area was packed & they left Kerry campaign HQ & opened their own Democrat campaign LGBT office. The Rainbow Kerry billboards and signs were originally financed by the DNC! Reading the gay newspapers enables you to learn about political events that the local paper 'forgets' to mention. Stuff like: Major fund-raisers of the local chapter of the state Gay Democrat party with the Kerry wife or daughters as featured guest speakers or a Kerry daughter gracing the cover of a lesbo magazine.

All of this is happening as Kerry is debating on national TV stating a marriage ought to be man & woman? Kerry played both sides of this issue fairly well by using his daughters' style and wife's charitable trust money and big mouth to court the LGBT support. By the time his campaign realized the backlash damage, it was too late. Although the DNC did see their error in early October & quit distributing all the rainbow-ed stuff they could not control the local LGBT groups. (I doubt another Democratic Presidential campaign would repeat this mistake, certainly Hillary won't.)

If you are a Conservative who opposes the homosexual agenda in America then it behooves you to read these gay newspapers and learn your opponent's goals and game plan. Then do the right thing and FREEP them every way you can.

Christians believe God can perform miracles. The idea that God can do all things except change homosexual behavior is an unchristian denial of God's sovereignty.

Well said, except for the sports part. There ARE real men out there who don't like sports. Mine happens to like hunting and building things and doesn't play any contact sports (he wrestled in highschool). I'm sure there are millions of men just like that.

The secular dogma that insists homosexual orientation is innate is, for obvious reasons, a comforting one for many people, but to advance the opposite position -- and threaten to deprive them of the myth -- sparks a reaction comparable to taking a pork chop away from somebody else's Doberman.

It really does cause that reaction in the homosexual crowd. I was very interested to read Gerard van den Aardweg's study about effeminate boys. He shows that orientation can be changed.
