I read that she had overdosed on barbituates and her dog was actually trying to wake her up. When she didn't respond, it kept chewing, I guess. She didn't want the dog to be destroyed because she felt it was trying to help her.

I had heard that before and was just trying to find out more about it. She was asleep when the attack happened; how does anyone know for sure what was going on in the dogs mind when the attack occurred? Was there someone else around to corroborate the story? This is a strange story.

I don't know if I could get a face transplant... the thought of someone else's skin on my face just creeps me out. Maybe I'd feel different if I were in that situation, but I don't know.....
