Yes, except that the Kyl/Cornyn plan should be supported, IMO, as it approaches this the right way; it requires that illegal aliens first go back to their home country, and only then apply for guest-worker status.

That provides an incentive for illegals to deport themselves, and is more fair to those who want to immigrate, but are trying to do so legally.

The Bush/Kennedy plan rewards those who have broken the law, and gives them an advantage over the law-abiding.

Tancredo's plan requires that also. Does anyone know what any of the essential differences are between the two plans?
