EXCLUSIVE: IRAQ FANATICS' KILL PILL
Iraq drug makes rebel fanatics fearless
A DRUG which makes users feel superhuman is being taken by rebel fanatics before they launch attacks against UK troops in Iraq.
The pill - filled with addictive stimulant methamphetamine - is given to insurgents so they have no fear of taking on heavily-armed Coalition forces.
Now senior British officers fear the courage drug, which is known as a "pinky", is flooding Basra where it could help fuel a second armed uprising.
Last night a senior Army source, who returned from Iraq two months ago, said there was a " big drugs trade" in Basra and feared leaders of different terrorists groups would hand out the pills to their followers.
The insider added: "Members of Muqtadr el-Sadr's fanatical Mehdi Army who've taken it have been known to stand in front of US armoured vehicles and open fire almost oblivious to the tank's guns.
"American officers think that suicide bombers may also be given pinkies to psyche them up before carrying out an attack."
Methamphetamine - one of the chemicals in the courage drug - is related to amphetamine but the effects on the central nervous system are greater.
Users feel a huge surge of energy and confidence 10 to 15 minutes after they have taken a dose.
The precise contents of the pills is classified information.
Probably can get them in TJ.
I would think that the courage pill of choice would be angel dust or PCP. Or maybe heroin or some morphine based drug that would render you immune to pain.
Should be otherwise known as the suicide pill...
I don't know anything about the affects of these drugs, so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but might heroine or a morphine based drug cause the taker to want to loll around and enjoy the high rather than head into battle?
But ... but ... I thought their moon god allah (piss be upon him) gives them their strength and courage!
Well at least they are spending money on things other then bombs and weapons. /s
Later...
Achmed: "Whooo -- Hoooo! Get my gun! Get it! Get it! Get it! Soldiers coming! I gotta get 'em! Out in the street! Out in the Street! I'm gonna shoot! Shoot! Shoot!"
Imam: "So, he's not crazy enough to commit suicide, but he is dumb enough to take the suicide pill, eh?"
This may make men fearless, but it doesn't sound like it makes them very effective in combat.
>Fearlessness in battle may be important, but it is hardly sufficient to win. Examples abound of great courage resulting only in quicker defeat, from the Zulus at Rorke's Drift to the Japanese banzai charges of WWII.
Hopefully a bunch of overconfident Islamocrazies will form a human wave and get mown down. Works for me.
Also - people who take such pills project different body language, making it easier to spot them. AND you can test people for it up to a day later: useful for policing purposes.
Muslims aren't allowed to drink alcohol but apparently they have no problem with hard drugs. Hmmm, makes sense. \sarcasm
GIVE ME LIBRIUM, OR GIVE ME METH!
It's hard to shoot when you're drooling. Meth (aka ice) or crack or coke will lower the inhibitions while providing a great deal of energy.
Janis Joplin commented on this effect. The user may have all kinds of plans and things to do and the energy level to do it, but just sits there immobile until it wears off.
Maybe we could introduce some cyanide-laced look-alikes. mmmmmm.
Thanks. As I said, I have no personal knowledge of any of these drugs, but that was certainly the impression I had from what information is available. Those representations of crack houses, for example, have not shown the users dancing around having a generally good time and ready to go out and take on the world.
I would think Angel Dust/PCP would disrupt them so badly they would not be able to fight coherently, and might turn on their "masters".
