The camo this chick is wearing is a hip-hop style popularized by various celebrities. It doesn't have much to do with the military.

But schools have the right to set policy, whatever that may be. If a parent disagrees with a policy, the appropriate action is for the parent to talk to the school before having an escalation.

IIRC, it was artist from Keene, NH that was pushing the US Army to adopt the concept during WWI.

In this instance, they're banning people wearing gang colors, which they are completely within rights to do.
