Bush is coming to the Brown Palace in Denver for a fundraising luncheon to support the candidacy of Marilyn Musgrave. We will gather at the State Capitol Building at 10:45 AM and will begin the short walk to The Brown Palace at 11:00 AM At the Capitol we will distribute preprinted signs that read: WE ARE NOT SAFER OCCUPATION BREEDS HATE and BRING THE TROOPS HOME WHERE THEY BELONG Please be prepared to donate $2 to have one of these yard signs to take home. There will be four people on bullhorns to lead us in a few chants (Money for jobs and education Not for occupation). The Brown Palace is the perfect setting to highlight his shameful policies that favor the wealthiest top 5% and corporations. Went to see Bon Jovi at the Garden last night and I am pleased to report not a mention of his politics.
I really like his music but its so hard to accept that he is such an active rat holding fundraisers and such.
I am glad though that he didnt resort to Springsteen or U2 antics last night and rocked the house. I have to assume a bad comment on his part might result in BOO's????
