Boston to Seek Stopping Other States from Selling Guns
New England Cable News | 11/27/05

Posted on 11/27/2005 2:34:28 PM PST by pabianice

Despite its place secure atop the Totem of Socialist Lunacy, Boston is again blazing new ground.

NECN is reporting that Boston authorities are "outraged" that gun violence in Boston is approaching near record levels despite the nation's most viciously punative anti-gun laws. That MA and Boston law disarms the law-abiding while coddling the criminal is a fact that the Liberals will not examine. So, according to NECN, Boston is embarking upon a campaign to make it illegal for gun dealers in other states to sell guns, since such guns may end-up in Boston.

This would be bad satire if it were not fact. How Boston/Massachusetts intends to implement such a plan remains unknown.

Sound like a pipe dream? Wait until Kennedy, Kerry, Menino, and the rest get into the act.

To be continued...

Now that I'm using my real name here at FR, allow me to take a moment to address my cousins up there in Boston...

Screw you.

Read the Constitution.

I live in Ohio and I think we should pass a bill to prohibit the import of Kennedy liberalism to this state.

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3, makes it clear that the federal government has the power to regulate interstate commerce.

This implies that the states, individually, do not have that power.

It's pretty ironic that this idiocy is originating in the city with so much history associated with our founding from the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre and the battle of Bunker Hill.

The last is especially ironic in that the battle was fought by militia armed with personally owned weapons. The socialists ruling today's Boston would have insured those patriots were unarmed in the face of the British Troops.

On second thought, why don't we in Ohio just ban all Irish from the state. Like guns, the Irish are unpredicable, scary and deadly. They often have ill effects on women and children. And they are not protected by the 2nd Amendment. < /sarcasm>

LOL...well, obviously a subdivision of a state would lack the power of the whole state, which is still insufficient to accomplish their goal.

So, in an attempt to address their record setting level of gun violence, MA has decided to disarm the rest of us so that we too can be victims of significant gun violence and make Boston look good by comparison.

This is the legislative equivalent of touching up the X-rays to avoid surgery.

The video is about 1/3 down this page:

http://www.boston.com/news/necn/

As far as I could tell, they're blaming it on New Hampshire, despite NH's law limmiting sales to non-residents:

159:8-a Sales to Nonresidents; Attorney General. No person holding a license issued under the provisions of RSA 159:8 shall sell a pistol or revolver to a nonresident unless such nonresident has authority under the laws of the state of his residence, to purchase a pistol or revolver in the state of his residence
