Now... I do agree with using the free market to make a statement, and supporting those companies that support freedom, and refusing to buy from those that are sympathetic to the democraps. BUT.....
Levi Strauss, Sonic, and Subway are on there. hhhmmmm .. I can cut back on Sonic and Subway (it will be tough)... but they can have my levi jeans when the pull them off my cold dead buttocks. It will take more than making the buyblue list for that one. If Cindy Sheehan did a tv spot for them... that may convince me to switch to .... uuuu It may cause me to buy ... uuuu ... (does anyone else make pants?)

Click on the links to read why these companies are being endorsed. For example, Fry's Electronics helps kids in developing countries get used computers. Not all those being endorsed are because they promote homosexuality, tree-hugging, abortion, etc. The list contains some companies there are engaged in rather innocuous activities.

I know how you feel. My only problems are Reebok and Estee Lauder.

Levi Strauss fits anti-gunners...and yes, once youve chucked out those levis youll find at least half a dozen companies that make better quality, better fitting jeans often for much less.
People often dont buy from the company with the best product, they buy from the one with the largest marketing budget.

From kindergarten until about fifteen years ago, I never owned a pair of jeans that weren't Levis. Then Levi Strauss quit funding the Boy Scouts because they don't allow homosexual scoutmasters. That was my last pair of Levis. Levi Strauss was bought out by a very leftist family that even went so far as to start advising their customers (the stores that were buying their products) on social issues. They're about as leftist as you get.
I now wear the base model Wranglers. 100% cotton, have to wash them three times before they won't stand up by themselves, and made in USA. I paid $14 for them at the local Western shop, and they are every bit as good as the old 501s.

The free-market way to counter this is simply go out of your way to frequent the companies that they say to avoid (if and when that happens). I never cared about
Overstock.com until the Pres started getting flack for an honest (however indelicate) statement that the lefties didn't like. Check them out.
