Anybody think less of Jeb Bush since Terri Schiavo died on March 31, 2005 due to starvation & dehydration?

Someone else brought Terri up on this thread. Did Jeb do all he could? Of course not. www.judgegeorgegreer.com (the worst judge in Amerika. The most complete expose comes out soon. Visit www.thenewempirejournal.com)

The truth hurts. Cheers.

Maybe this has something to do with the poll numbers to which Jeb said in the local paper, "Where's Quinnipac?"

Jeb met with Jackson and told Jackson that Terri's rescue was stopped.

Over and out.

I thought it was the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT that either handled or mishandled storms on the state/local level...

or is that only when a Republican is president and the local response sucks?

There seems to be plenty of blame that they are wanting to spread around!

Jeb pounded McBride because he was getting inside info on McBride from former Holland & Knight employees who shall remain nameless. Jeb also thanked free republic for helping him too. That was his last hurrah imo.

I had not heard anything of that! Interesting! Any more you can say about it? Regardless, the point I was trying to make, is that Jeb defeated McBride handily, yet the class size amendment, which is a huge waste of money, and Jeb vociferously opposed, passed!

Baloney.

Jeb pounded McBride because Jeb Bush is Jeb Bush and McBride is McBride is nobody.

I worked on the campaign effort, and I couldn't care less about "inside information" or other tin foil hat, Mission Impossible, spy nonsense.

This is Florida and no liberal democrats need apply.
Period.

Uh, I think you have forgotten about Bill Nelson and his former colleague, Robert "Bob" Graham, the most popular of all of the late 20th Century FL politicians.

No, I haven't forgotten.

Graham is gone and Nelson had best watch his back in 06.

Can you tell that I really don't even like a democrat?

Jeb either wouldn't or was too impotent to protect the most vulnerable person in his state. He knows that Terri Schiavo's death was MURDER!!! and he didn't have the BB's to stop it. A Governor that can't protect one citizen certainly couldn't protect millions.

He's a lame duck just like his brother.

I didn't see you rushing in, guns a-blazing. Besides, we are called to be better than the arrogant judges and death-merchants on the left; we attempt societal and legal change through peaceful and persuasive means.

As a matter of fact, if you had been looking closely, you would have seen me rushing in. I was at Hopspice Woodside during Terri's murder and during the previous murder attempt.

I was there in the middle of the night and saw the little redneck Pinellas Police turn away Jeb's men by throwing a little wooden road block across the road in front of them.

Any Governor who would let a redneck swamp judge and a country bumpkin police department usurp his role as leader is nothing but a lame duck weenie...but of course republibots don't want to see the truth about how spineless the Republican Party has become.

Jeb Bush has let the insurance and utility companies run roughshod over Floridians

I guess its better for my wallet than having a socialist crook running things.

So you were arrested? You rushed in? Somehow I'm skeptical, but even if you did, your efforts were a failure. Terri was still murdered, and it is sickening.

I'm not going to get into a tit for tat with you; but I will tell you there are legal ways to fight injustice and there are illegal ways. Greer was wrong, the federal judges were wrong, and so was Michael Schiavo. Nevertheless, the family who loved and cared about Terri--her mom, dad, and siblings, never took violent action. I think they were right. I also think Jeb did all he could in this extremely sad situation.

If you want to do something to keep stuff like this from happening again, work within the system to ELECT MORE CONSERVATIVES--local judges, governors, et al. Be a "roaring lamb" of justice and mercy.

Name-calling those who worked to save Terri, those who did their best within their sphere of influence, isn't a demonstration of either.

And another thing: don't support Charlie Crist in the next gubernatorial primaries.

Mom, Pop, Bobby and Susan are the reasons that there was no violence. A militia group had plans to take Terri out of there without weapons by simply overwhelming the police with numbers. They never carried out their plan because the Shindlers made it clear that they wanted no violence. Every one at the vigil respected the Schindler's decision, even the militia. The militia plan was peaceful, but there would probably have been bloodshed. Those Pinellas Nazis seemed like they were just itching to hurt someone.

You say that there is a wrong way and a "right" way to fight things like this, and you are correct. But if a robber breaks into your house and is about to shoot your kids do you just let him kill them because it wouldn't be "right" to return his violence with more violence?

That's the whole problem with the conservative movement today. Conservatives aren't willing to fight the Democrats or stand up for the issues that they campaign on. They just crawl into a hole and die every time Nancy Pelosi or Ted Kennedy throws a temper tantrum. The Republican party is going to have to learn to fight fire with fire or its doomed.

You also think the solution is to elect more conservatives. How many more do we have to elect? We have a full majority of so called conservatives and they haven't done a durn thing. They talk trash and then run for cover the second someone waves a CNN poll in their faces.

Most Republicans are Liberals in conservative clothing anyway. They spew their conservative blather during their campaigns, and then they just do as they please once they are elected.

Most of them are just like the Dems...old money or career politicians. I bet if you said the words "public servant" at a Republican or Democratic convention they would all choke on their steaks and spew their thousand dollar wine all over the Persian rugs.

Both parties are corrupt and filled with elitists who think they are above the whims of the American people. The sooner voters on both sides of the fence figure that out the sooner we can start to clean up this mess.

P.S. Our efforts to save Terri failed because we only had about 300 good old American conservatives who cared enough to get up off their butts and come to Hospsice Woodside on any given day. Do you think Terri would still be alive if 10,000 had showed up ...or maybe the 50,000 that should have been there?

Yes, American conservatives are all in an uproar about Terri's murder, but they couldn't even put forth the same amount of effort to save her that they would have put into going to a football game or a concert. We just couldn't raise the numbers to make Jeb and his Lame duck brother more afraid of us than they were the polls that were being spewed out by the liberal media.

Maybe we should have hosted a golf tournament on the hospice lawn? I bet we could have gotten some good, solid conservatives to show up then.

While the Scott Peterson case lacked direct witnesses, SCHIAVO-GATE had multiple witnesses, some weren't even at the Vigil. They were on the phone or the internet. They are witnesses as well to the miscarriage of justice in Pinellas County. (Fla AG Crist is still also derelect in his duties.)

HERE'S THE KICKER: Mel Sembler is heading up fundraising for SCOOTER LIBBY'S legal defense fund. Until that point, I gave SCOOTER LIBBY the benefit of the doubt. Now that I know MEL SEMBLER is raising money for LIBBY, he's probably guilty of some charge.

Sembler is the real POTUS, did you know?

Judge Greer BELIEVES in his delusional world that he is the religious right, that he is a conservative judge and that after all the awards he got for killing Terri, that he is omnipresent. Judge Greer is a Republican. I'd like real conservative judges but at present, I must pay the salary and pension of a judicial homicidal maniac that Jeb Bush telegraphed to that FDLE was coming so Greer would announce on the radio that he would not let FDLE pass. It was all a ruse for the people. Jeb Bush thought "his people" would fall for it.

Not. When governors and judges quit playing god and with zeal I might add, I will support them.

Since you were in the center of the storm with maybe just access to a tv news crew or someone's radio, you may not have been aware that 66th St. was SHUT DOWN entirely. People who had places to go had to take a detour.

More Terri supporters were on the way but since 66th St. was SHUT DOWN, they could not get to the Vigil.

One of Terri's nurses at a nice nursing home, years before the loving husband warehoused her at the nazi camp aka hospice woodside told me that 66th St. was incrementally cordoned off right after Easter Sunday by law enforcement (probably by Sheriff Coats, heir to Sheriff Rice who voted in Tallahassee to kill Terri).

Fla AG Crist (crickets chirping) provided abandonment services to Terri. He was part of her betrayal, a deal with Jeb to just ignore Terri until she passed.
