Detroit is a lost cause though.
..??..ya mean it wasn't Sven Johannsen?
Doogle
They only care when there's confusion over which democrat wins. When the questionable vote involves a republican it goes to the democrat by default.

Detroit? Never, who would have 'thunk' that.
I am not sure why anyone wants to be mayor.....
What was the final tally..how close is it
There may be a more crooked city in America, but I can't think of it.
Super Bowl XL hits Detroit in early February, while there is still a fight going on over who actually won the election, and everyone's asking "who's the 'real' Mayor of Detroit?'
Then some disaster hits (ice storm? Al Queda? Canada invades?), and the chaos that would normally be Detroit, and on top of that Detroit in a crisis, is magnified by a controversy over who legally runs the city.
This would be perfect Detroit. And not ironically enough, perfectly Detroit Lions. And should this scenario come to pass, my only prediction is that Matt Millen would come out of it with a contract extension.
Detroit is still haunted (and run) by the ghost of Coleman Young!
Detroit can't hold a candle to Seattle when it comes to corrupt elections.
