The Network of College Conservatives (N.C.C.) enters its second week receiving much attention.
The N.C.C. has only been online since November 9, 2005, but a number of significant accomplishments have befallen this institution of higher conservative thought.
· Students from across the nation have logged-on to www.conservativesoncampus.com and joined the N.C.C.
· Leftwing websites and blogs have voiced their absolute hatred for the N.C.C. and Dean Christopher Flickinger.
· The N.C.C. has received two major endorsements: Peter Hannaford (former aid to Governor and President Ronald Reagan) and Dr. Richard Vedder (renowned economist and college professor).
· N.C.C. founder Christopher Flickinger was interviewed by American Family Radio concerning his efforts to combat liberal indoctrination on college campuses.
· On Thanksgiving Day (November 24, 2005) Christopher Flickinger can be heard on KKLA Radio's Frank Pastore Show within the Los Angeles market at 6 p.m. (PST).
· Dean Flickinger can also be heard on The Right Balance radio show with Greg Allen Tuesday November 29, 2005 at 10 a.m. (EST).
I'm always amazed at the social and political conservatism of the students.
The question is "Why are college conservatives making gains?"
Network of College Creationists is a more apt description.
bump for publicity
BTTT
75 issue links are offered on their Resources page - 4 deal with Evolution. So why the ad hominem slap?
I think that Free Republic would benefit from a slogan. I nominate:
Free Rebublic
The abstract and brief chronicles of the time.
This line is from Hamlet
HAMLET
'Tis well: I'll have thee speak out the rest soon.
Good my lord, will you see the players well
bestowed? Do you hear, let them be well used; for
they are the abstract and brief chronicles of the
time: after your death you were better have a bad
epitaph than their ill report while you live.
The Stage in Shakespeares day was the equivalent of the internet now. Polonius, the King's Advisor had contempt for the players, just as the MSM and the liberal establishment has contempt for the new media in general and Free Republic in particular. But, Free Republic, like the players, cannot be ignored, as it is the abstract and brief chronicles of the time.
College conservatives bump!
