As Hugo Chavez prepares to distribute cheap oil to the poor in the U.S.,theres no question theres an unsavory political story behind it. Weve found it.
Chavez is Code Pink's Medea Benjamin 's biggest client--perhaps she helped broker the deal when she wasan't shlepping the hapless Cindy Sheehan around to pressers.
Hmmm! This is really interesting. Big Commie Oil and the Kennedy's.
Al Capone bankrolled soup kitchens in Chigago.
Say what you want, but I'd rather buy oil from a commie than a bunch of muslim terrorists.
Isn't is interesting that a hypocritical enviro like Kennedy fights tooth and nail against exploitation of domestic resources of energy while linking arms with this whack job, anti-American commie Chavez?
Do you still retain any doubt of the leftwing objectives of groups like NRDC?
He's very dangerous and is buying off everyone in can in Latin America--he is very dangerous to us and is now subsidizing the left here. http://americanthinker.com/comments.php?comments_id=3720
This is totally illegal. It is government sponsored predatory pricing, and it is also someone from the legislative branch negotiating foreign policy. It should be stopped.
...or raising more money for "the other side" in Fallujah.
I'm not as alarmed as some here... so, they're going to sell us their oil on the cheap... why don't we arrange for them to sell us ALL their oil at discount prices.. and keep ours in the ground while we work on maglev trains?
And when they hit peak oil production, how are they going to be a threat to us?
Obviously Hugo Chavez was paying attention when Saddam Hussein was buying the UN and the foreign policy of France, numerous journalists and politicians and now he's playing the game himself.
I live in DC I have no voting representation in Congress.
We need to drill our own oil or come up with a suitable alternative to oil. Mass transit has never been a winner.
