"encourage all LGBT legislators and all other LGBT public officials to be open and honest about their sexual orientation or gender identity or expression so that their input on future legislation and proposals will be enhanced by a freedom to share both unique and common professional and personal life experiences with their colleagues and the constituents they represent."

I can see it now:

"The chair recognizes congressman Franks"

Franks: "I like taking it up the butt so you should listen to me when I say that we need to raise taxes"

How does practicing sexual perversion increase anyone's credibility?

Chuck Wolfe is the president and CEO of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Leadership Institute, the nation’s leading organization that recruits, trains and supports openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender candidates, campaign staff and officials. The organization is nonpartisan and works at the federal, state and local levels. He is responsible for the organization’s strategic planning and has put in place an aggressive growth plan, which includes building a presence in 13 “Horizon states” that lack any openly gay or lesbian public officials.

Mr. Wolfe has an extensive background in politics, issue advocacy and organizational development. He previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the American Legacy Foundation, which was created as a result of the 46-state settlement with the tobacco industry. Mr. Wolfe was the Foundation’s first employee and initiated programs such as the renowned TRUTH campaign. He has emerged as a leading authority in the public health movement to reduce the devastating effects of tobacco use. Numerous media outlets, including 60 Minutes, have featured his efforts; the National Tobacco Control Conference, the National Governor’s Association, the National Conference of State Legislatures and the American Cancer Society have showcased his expertise; and several state governments and national campaigns have sought his counsel.

Mr. Wolfe entered the public and non-profit sector as an appointee to the late Florida Governor Lawton Chiles. In addition to serving on the governor’s 1994 reelection campaign as operations manager, he served the governor for seven years in such capacities as director of external affairs, director of tobacco control and executive director of the Miami Financial Oversight Board. During his tenure, among numerous other achievements, Mr. Wolfe developed and implemented programs that aided the relief efforts of Hurricane Andrew, the City of Miami’s financial emergency and the Florida Tobacco Pilot Program.

Mr. Wolfe, an Eagle Scout, has a long history of leadership within the Boy Scouts of America, including a two-year term on the National Executive Board. For over ten years he has been active and outspoken in the effort to rid scouting of its discriminatory policies towards gays and lesbians.

Mr. Wolfe is a 1985 graduate of Stetson University in Florida and completed the Negotiating Skills Seminar at the J.F.K. School of Government of Harvard University in 1997. A native of Florida, he moved to Washington, D.C. in 1999, and is an active member of the Foundry United Methodist Church.

The Muslims won't comply. If the LGBT try to enforce the anti-homosexual abuse laws through the UN, they just might destroy each other. The rest of America could just watch.

Eh, it's only a thought.

"Once people serve with an openly gay or lesbian officeholder, they become comfortable and knowledgeable," he says. "That's the way politics work -- it's the relationships that get things done. If we truly want equality, it's going to happen because we're sitting there at the table with these relationships and able to get things done."

MW: What's the main thing that a candidate needs to be trained for to keep it (gay/lesbian) from becoming a negative issue for them?

WOLFE: Message, message, message. You have to truly know what your message is going to be and how to stay on that message. If anybody tries to divert you, you answer the question quickly and succinctly, and connect it to your message. It is consistent delivery of your message that will break through and help a candidate get elected. It's those candidates we're after, the ones who can break through whatever's thrown at them and stay on message.

If this doesn't clearly speak to the masses, I don't know what will. Homosexuals get into the government solely to advance the anti family dogma. We need to start preventing them from being elected, and get those who were already given the benefit of the doubt, out.

I have never voted one in, personally. But a lot of people have given these people the benefit of the doubt. Clearly what they lack in judgment in their personal lives, carries over to political lives too.

For some reason every time I see GLBT, I speak the full words out in my mind but it always comes out Gay, Lesbian, Bi's and Tri's.

When are they going to end "LGBT" violence against Christians? Against their immortal souls? Violence takes many forms.

What with the general approval (by libs) of the Brokeback Mountain film and the continuing attempts to legitimize the illegitimate, now's a good time to intensify our responses to the homo-lesbian-weirdos of the world and defeat any legislature that attempts to make them acceptable and legal.
