Among the suggestions: "The Passion of the Christ," "The Sound of Music," "It's a Wonderful Life" and "8 Mile.

THIS is representative of the list? I haven't seen Passion.

I'd rather be crucified myself than watch either "The Sound of Music" or "It's a Wonderful Life" ever again.

Why are AFI's lists so screwed up? Must be the baby-boomer bias.

I can understand The Sound of Music, but It's a Wonderful Life is almost unanimously seen as an inspirational movie, one of the finest ever made. It's certainly one of my favorites, as is Pulp Fiction, which contains some inspirational scenes as well, such as Christopher Walken's watch story scene, which I think is magnificent.
