Yes, and I hope that it's an extremely tangible and significant one....he deserves it.
I'm very happy that you liked it and that it brightened your day, as it did mine :-)
Not so easy when you have $350,000 worth of diamonds in your hand!
One for you, two for me..
One for you, two for me..
One for you, two for me..
I'm glad that you liked it :-) I often wonder how many members of the MSM are able to live with themselves, being constantly unprofessional, juvenile, unworldly and just plain WRONG so very, very often. Thank GOD for the internet, talk radio, the blogosphere and venues such as FR, without which we would still be subjected to the dinosaur alphabet networks trying to tell us 'that's the way it was' when in reality 'it' wasn't even vaguely close to what they said. I often wonder how many major events of the past sixty-odd years have been completely misreported and with the wrong actions taken as a result of that misreporting. I suppose we will never know the full extent of the damage that was done to our world by these biased, arrogant and condescending oafs but the future looks extremely bright and cheery to me, with Truth now being far more accessible to most people.
I gave her a $100.00 bill before she left and thanked her.
She didn't want to take the money but I insisted and told her good deed should be rewarded.
Thank you for your kindness, and I know that God appreciates your kindness as well.

My furry little Stoat heart would have been up in my throat during that conversation if I had been the one to make that call :-)
You're sounding like a tax collector :-)

Honesty Pays For Cabbie Who Found $350K In Diamonds
POSTED: 2:40 pm EST November 30, 2005
LOS ANGELES -- A Southern California cab driver's simple act of honesty has turned to gold.
Two weeks ago, the driver, Haider Sediqi, tracked down a jeweler and returned to him the $350,000 worth of diamonds he left in the back seat of the taxi.
As a way of saying "thank you," the jeweler sent the cabbie a $10,000 check and a diamond bracelet.
But the honest cabbie was just as impressed with the man's thank-you note. The jeweler wrote that the cab driver had "changed his life."
The driver is putting the money in a bank account to help pay for his children's schooling. And he's giving the bracelet to his wife, who assured him he did the right thing in returning the diamonds.
It's really nice to see a story with a good ending.
Wow great story, thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for such a nice update!
Thanks for the update. :)
Thank you very much for the follow-up! That was very kind of you to think of us.
It was a nice story and I'm very happy that it's ended so well for all concerned.
Thank you, what a lovely story. Inspirational indeed, a good guy doing the right thing. And I, too, was starved for a little good news today.
I heard this story on the news a few nites ago, tho I cannot remember what news station it was on...
They also said that he received 10K reward for his honesty...this is the kind of story that makes my day ...with all the bad news we hear constantly, a story like this just stands out, and makes you feel good...
They had this guy on the telephone, and he just said, that he never, ever for one moment thought to keep the diamonds...that he knew, he must return them...what a wonderful man...
Youre all very welcome. I enjoyed the happy ending too.
